Liverpool’s manager has agreed that his new transfers will pile on him the pressure to clinch the English Premier League trophy. Liverpool now has all the ability to chase for the trophy with no worries. The German national is set to celebrate his third anniversary with the Red’s this coming October. So far, the coach has brought so much excitement to the Anfield Stadium. However, he has not been able to add any silverware. Liverpool has managed to go to the finals three times with Jürgen Klopp. Of all the three, the manager has not been able to clinch any trophy. The first cups that he guided the reds to the finals are Europa and then the League cup. Then last season he campaigned and managed to secure a finals slot in the Champions League. Klopp’s side performed well throughout the season.
Apart from the mistakes that were caused by their goalkeeper, Karius, during the Champions League finals, the rest of the players performed well. However, the game was also faced with tears as their goal scoring machine Mohammed Salah was fouled by Sergio Ramos. This saw him not able to proceed with the match. He suffered a shoulder injury that did put him off the pitch for weeks until the World Cup came knocking. Klopp has brought a lot of changes to Anfield. So far, he has revived their winning spirit. Though, they need to start bringing trophies back home. Jürgen Klopp has so far been in the eight, fourth and fourth position in the premier league standings for the three seasons that he has managed the Reds. The fans have nothing left than to ask him to go for the Premier league trophy which is quite a long time since they got hold of it.
The manager said that he is aware of the expectations and that it was normal for the fans to think so. He noted that he was not going to guarantee them, but he was already downing tools for the challenge. He said that the team needs to play the kind of football that will assist them to create chances of winning the match. He also added that the fans shouldn’t be talking of winning if the season hadn’t yet started. However, the manager said that he was confident that he was going to build on what they achieved last season.
